Hotel Turium

We stayed at this property during the central week of August, opting for the residence formula. However, there are some important considerations to make about the service. First of all, despite the lack of cleaning service provided in the residence formula, it would have been appreciable to receive at least one tablecloth without having to buy it separately at the cost of €8 per package. Also, no toilet paper was provided either. In the room the shower, with tub and curtain, looked old-fashioned and unhygienic. The 14-inch TV was only available in the kitchen. Despite this, the room overall was acceptable. The rooms of the residence are located above the swimming pool, which is large and beautiful, however, it does not receive sun in the afternoon due to its shaded position by the residence building itself. Also, access to the pool is restricted by the lifeguard which made it difficult to enjoy yourself properly. With regard to half board, breakfast and lunch are served in the hotel about 150 meters away. The breakfast buffet didn't offer much variety and the water supply was limited, with only two half liter bottles on the table which were quickly depleted. You had to wait a long time for the clearly overworked waiters to bring the requested water. As for the savory breakfast, there was a crowded situation in a crowded room, with sandwiches that were literally besieged because 6 sandwiches were placed today for 15 minutes. In the entire week, I only managed to get sandwiches once. As for lunch and dinner, if you're looking for a hospital-like dining experience, this is the place to relive it. The first courses were always overcooked and seemed to be prepared with frozen products. The second courses lacked seasoning and the visual aspect was not appetizing. Also, with every request, you had to wait until the waiters were done with other things, as they were constantly busy. Any other requests were extra So no wine, no cola, no special requests, no coffee, they were all paid extras. Between the measly first and second courses there is always the waiter's request "Do you want" the fruit?, "Do you want" the dessert?, a would have been more appropriate. An additional disadvantage is the extremely poor WiFi connection, which only works decently in the evening and early in the morning. It's a pity that not even your own personal connection can be used due to the poor reception in the area. As for the beach, overall it was decent, although there was no music despite having a bar. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this establishment.

I stayed from 18th to 25th June 2023, a beautiful holiday, the hotel is very well looked after, the rooms are spacious and clean, as are the bathrooms. Clean towels were left every morning. We opted for breakfast only, which I must say was very abundant, but I also had the pleasure of having dinner twice with very good seafood dishes. The swimming pool is very beautiful, just a few meters from the hotel, clean and supervised by a lifeguard, as is the beautiful beach with a very clean sea. I forgot to note that the sink which received water very slowly, after having pointed it out to the manager, was repaired immediately. The surrounding places are very beautiful, Diamante, Praia a Mare, Scalea etc and the people are very friendly and nice, what more can I say? Too bad it's over, congratulations to everyone.
